Challenge to see Wicked

Ok I would like to take hubby and our 4 off springs (ages 17,15,12 & 8) to see Wicked but it's only in London and we don't know London at all  So what/when is the cheapest way to do it? Travelling by train or car from Manchester area? Travel Lodge, but which one is the theatre (Apollo Victoria Theater) near?

Oops forgot to add I've got Tesco clubcard deals for £75 so 4 x that maybe use these?
Panda on My Shoulder

If you can make it cheaper do so. If it's not reduced, in Primark, off ebay or free I can't have it

I wouldnt drive to be honest with you.

the cheapest way would be to try and get national express funfares- your kids are old enough to not be a complete nightmare on the journeys, and fun fares start from a pound each way ( plus quidco!)

the coach will bring you in in the Victoria area. London Battersea, and London Marylebone will be your closest, personally I would choose marylebone as the area is lovely round there and very "london"

Wicked is covered under the Lastminute.coms cheap tickets deals, tickets are 15.00 each through them ( careful sometimes they are crap seats) - dont forget quidco ifg you are booking through them. Theres some with dinner as well but they are 60 quid each and I personally dont think its worth it. ( although these might be better tickets)
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

    Hi

You don't say when you want to travel but check http://www.virgintrains.co.uk/buy_tickets/tickets_explained/default.aspx

If you buy a family railcard, cost £20, it will save you 1/3 on fares and you can pick up value advance tickets to keep the cost down.

Cheaper option is National Express, mentioned earlier, or www.megabus.com.
Quidco give 30p on National Express.

This gives the best seat info http://www.theatremonkey.com/APOLLOVICTORIAstalls.htm. The dress circle seats are cheaper.

You could take a chance and go to the booth at Leicester square to get 1/2 price tickets on the day.

Try www.hotelscomparison.com or www.travelsupermarket.com for hotels.

    Travelodge https://www.travelodge.co.uk/find_a_hotel/results.php?search_type=4&search=City%20of%20London%2C%20Gtr%20London&id=5449

You could try the free room glitch with Ramada Jarvis.

Let us know when you want to travel.

apollo is near victoria station - but i would advise trying to get covent garden travelodge as its a much funkier area to wander around when you are not at the theatre.

    BUT

Look at hotel / theatre packages - often advertised in mail on sunday - where you buy a theatre ticket and get a free hotel for the night - will try and locate the website and post it

    here is one

    www.holidayextras.co.uk

look at theatre breaks - hotel and show inclusive
