Coopers of Stortford Adjustable Mini-table

Options
I keep looking at these ( £19.99 buy one get one free ! ) and debating whether to send for them?
www.coopersofstortford.co.uk

Common sense tells me they can't be much good at that price but at present I can get free delivery but it would cost a lot to return them if they're no good.

Has anyone seen anything similar I can use for a laptop/reading etc?

I did buy some keyring torches from them which fell apart the second time used but then I found the batteries fitted my brilliant old one (different make) so no loss.

Can't see the table from that link Cairndog but everything I've got from them isn't quite what it seems whether it's a quality issue or the size etc. My Mum is always buying from them (she likes to browse the catalogue) and as you say it's expensive to send back as couriers like Hermes won't delivery to the returns address as it's a PO box. You have to send through Royal Mail I'd go elsewhere unless you're 100% sure. Sorry to be a sourpuss.

It looks like my Mum's one, if it's the same then they're fine, a bit flimsy but what do you expect for £10 each? In general Fruittea is right though, their stuff is usually less than expected.

I bought a chainsaw sharpener from them that was good and well-priced, but only because my friend had already taken the plunge before me.

Now I'm bombarded with catalogues and emails from them full of 'old people's stuff,' which I suppose is semi-appropriate, as I'm over pension age. However, I'm not old!

To me, it looks a cheap bit of kit, which is what I'd expect for that money, as there's no such thing as 'free.'

Dunelm Mill sell folding 'TV tables' for less than £10 each. Ours are in daily use with two teenagers and I bought them about six years ago.

Thanks for the comment about the keyring torches - I'd seen them and was considering buying some. I'll give them a miss.
