Email link wont work?

I have 2 emails Yahoo and Outlook. When I use the email link on a web page it always uses Outlook but over the last couple of months it doesn't send them.
I press "send " and it appears to have gone but the person never receives it.
I use Windows 10 and Firefox
Can anyone please suggest why this might be ?

So I guess which code(program) is it using to send? Is it the Windows10 Mail default client? Or have you any other Mail clients (programs) installed? e.g. Outlook (progam!), Thunderbird ?
EDIT: assuming its "Windows10 Mail" is the "mail sender" check it works ...by using it directly.0
