    Update on the birthday.
Train to London on Saturday morning and breakfast on the train (picnic)
V&A in the morning and lunch in Hyde park then Serpentine Gallery
Dinner at The Ivy followed by 'We will Rock You' (Brilliant and recommend)
Posh hotel then breakfast at the Tate and mooch there before boat to Tate Modern and a stroll along the Thames where we ate before catching the train home. I am a very tired thoroughly spoiled (Thank you DD) but happy bunny who had a fabulous weekend. DD has stated she is knitting me a pair of socks next year. However she enjoyed it as much as me. Thanks for the happy birthdays. scottishfreebiehunter,Tulip, wokkies and littleholly.
Passport was so I could join the V&A library by the way.

I had a call today saying the competition I have entered will be drawn in 3 weeks. They wanted me to do a 10 day trial of their kids educational cd roms but then said they wanted a £7 deposit to cover the cost of them. They were very persistent, I had to hang up in the end. Trying to work out which competition it was.

Just had these on the phone again for 20 mins trying to get me to do the free trial that I have to fork out money for... had to hang up in the end again....
  • Hi :hello:
found this site 3 days ago and have been entering like mad, just wondered how long it was before peeps got their first wins, not that I'm impatient or anything :rotfl:

Was it for the maths tuition comp? (mychild.co.uk?) I've had them ringing up nearly every day! Pain in the butts! Luckily I put my OH's details down and they accept he's at work during the day so I don't get the sales pitch!
Thank you to everyone who posts comps! :A
    I would like to be lucky,healthy & happy in 2020! :T
  • NSPCC have been phoning up to 5 times a day the past week and a half due to some competition I entered, must of forgot to tick a box. Anyhoo I told them I cant give them money and they are totally pushing it and trying to make me feel bad about abused children so I said, Im sorry but £2 a week isnt going to stop someone beating their child.
    Win £2008 in 2008 no #49 £601.91/£2008
