Please help I just need some words of encouragement, getting really stressed out today the house is a mess after xmas stuff every where but when i try to put things away i just havent the room for anything, just cleaned one cupboard out this morning it was full of empty boxes that you keep just incase something breaks and you have to send it back. Also i have just told my other half to stop buying things we dont need as they only end up in the drawers and cupboards and dont get used but are too good to just throw away, i have already got rid of a load of stuff on ebay but the rest cant get rid of or he wont let me, typical man just says "oh i will keep that it might come in handy" and then just puts it in the kitchen drawer:mad: .
I keep getting up off my puter to do something but then when i look at the mess despair kicks in and get back on my puter but then guilt sets back in and i get up again, i just dont know where to start, its not the comping fairy i need its a cleaning fairy and a skip !!!!!!!!!!!
Please post me some words of encouragement as im not getting any off the oh.

Oh naomi, I know how you feel.

I've just come home from work, I'm shattered and should be putting the decorations away.
Hubby has gone out fishing and I've just come on here to have a quick nose around.
I might just start slowly and put the cards away, then come back on here again:rolleyes:

One good thing is the kids are happy, my prize of dvd's arrived this am so they are currently watching the simpson movie and being extremely quiet!

Keep on trawling through the decs and those boxes will disappear soon enough.
    At least I hope so!:rotfl:

Thanks gingerchick, why do we always have to do everything my oh has just told me he is going to play golf tomorrow. But i dony envy you actually my oh used to go fishing too and the smell when he got back covered in fish slime on his clothes was awful, i swear the smell was still there even after they were washed. Good luck with your chores i will just start to get everywhere straight and then it will be xmas again lol.

poor you naomi, our house is the same at the min as we're decorating and it seems a nightmare. I've been really ill over the last few days and need to do stuff, try and organise my wedding, clean up etc and it's just not happening. And I'm on antibiotics so no glass of wine either :(

    too many comps..not enough time!

Thanks chickaroonee I do hope you get sorted out soon xmas is just such a nightmare a big build up and then a big mess afterwards, i wish i lived in a house have a ground floor apartment so i have no loft then i could just throw everything up there till the next year even my oh and all his junk, he could have his own room and make as much mess as he liked.
Hope you feel better soon and good luck with the wedding plans and the decorating.

    Hi,
    Quick question...hopefully!
When entering competitions you usually have the option to sign up to a newsletter . I'd prefer not to be bombarded with junk mail but am concerned (or maybe just cynical!?) that winners may only be drawn from "subscribers".

Does anyone have an opinion about this?

    Thanks,

I have wondered this too and have been signing up to the newsletters but not to passing my details on to other companys as its easy to delete a newsletter. maybe i wont be saying that when im getting hundereds of them:p
