Intus

Anyone heard of "Intus"?
Found them on Internet currently advertising 12 months fixed term account - 5% p.a. interest or 36 months fixed term account - 6,5% p.a. interest, you can invest whatever amount you want for the fixed period, money is locked away and no withdrawls
Asked about what securities I have and was told to read "https://www.intus.ee/security/" obviously it is rather long so hence why I am here to see if anyone can give me some information on wether this is a good place to put my money at the 6.5% interest
Thanks

It's a loan company in Estonia? How much of your money are you prepared to risk losing?

Look at the website - it's an Estonian Savings & Loan Association regulated in Estonia. This link tells me that Estonia Savings & Loan Associations are not covered by a deposit guarantee. Fancy raising issues with the Estonian regulators? Presumably the transactions are in euros - the £/euro rate could easily move more than any interest you may gain.

The company operates by lending your money out at higher rates to people who may or may not repay it. If that's what you want to do why not try P2P in the UK.
