Sourcing shelves for kitchen cupboards

I had to remove the bath panel for other reasons. Nothing there.
I looked under the plinths (they were a bit loose) and nothing there.
The garage has floor tiles from kitchen and bathroom, and a couple of pots of used paint but no shelves.
Diy kitchens do alabaster and vanilla shelves so I've ordered samples to look at. I also need a cupboard door since the previous owners seem t have taken that with them when they took what I suspect was a built-in dishwasher (the fittings for a dishwasher are there and there was no gap when we viewed the property).0 -
Take a door/shelf to a kitchen company & ask "have you got anything like this".Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0

I know that after 2 years it is a bit late but was the dishwasher included or excluded from the fixtures and fittings list?
There should have been a Property Information Form or other document that listed what was included in the sale and what was excluded.
Built in appliances such as ovens and dishwashers are normally included.
It is not unreasonable to take a dishwasher if it was specifically excluded or wasn't on the list of included items but taking a decor door is daft.
It won't suit the sellers new home unless the kitchen is exactly the same and it leaves you with a gap for which it will be difficult to find a suitable matching door.
Perhaps it was a free standing dishwasher without a decor door. Can you remember from your viewings?0 -
I'm starting to wonder whether it was, and given the hassle in trying to find a matching door, I think it's better to go with a freestanding rather than integrated dishwasher.Head_The_Ball wrote: »Perhaps it was a free standing dishwasher without a decor door. Can you remember from your viewings?
As for the shelves, I ordered some samples from DIY-kitchens and the alabaster colour appears to match the current cupboards. The problem is I don't know what the measurement corresponds to:

Any thoughts? Is it width or length? Or do they come in fixed lengths with variable widths?0 -
The measurements shown relate to the width of the cupboard so, if your cupboard is 600mm wide (say) you'll need to order 600mm shelves. In practice they'll be slightly narrower as the 600mm is the external width of the cupboard. You'll need the "base" version; the "wall" version will be shallower.
Hope this helps. I don't suppose that firm have a matching door, too, do they? Too much to hope for, I suspect.0 -
As above it will be the width of the cupboard (less the thickness of the side frames) but it will be the length of the shelf. I looked at the website you linked to and I have to say it is not very helpful. If you click on more details, where I would have expected to see the actual dimensions of the shelf, there are no details - apart from the colour!0
