Sorry if this has been asked but I have searched.
I applied for the discount on 11 October 2016 and after telephoning in november was told it was awarded mid november and just waiting to be transferred to my account.
I emailed them a couple of days ago and was told it will be transferred soon and pointed out it can take 12 weeks.
They have the money and appear to be holding it and making me wait a further 6 weeks.
This happened last year as well and it is Co op energy I am with.
Is this normal for them to hold it or are they supposed to transfer it as soon as they receive it? Thanks

It is not about what is meant to happen as you dealing with a large firm who simply cannot be bothered to have enough staff in the department that sorts out payments, Plus factor in they like it sitting the Company account as opposed to yours so they gain a bit more interest.0

I have not received my discount yet (31st Jan 2016) and I am in the Core group and have had it for past 4 years always in December or sometimes November. At first I was told it would be by today!
Now I am being told it could be up to May?
As I have prepayment meters and duel fuel and am in receipt of pension credits I cant understand why my disabled daughter received hers before christmas and I have not. I am with Scottish Power she is not.
What good is it in May, I thought the idea is to help with winter costs and heating?:mad:0 -

Richie I know what it says on their site, my complaint is that they had this money in November 2016 and did not send it to me until the stated 12 weeks had elapsed0

I wonder if it is possible to charge them interest for the delay time in paying0

Nice idea Bill but I doubt it0
