Hi, Has anyone heard of or used Masthaven Bank. Never heard of them until today. Just looking at saving in a one year bond at 1.35%,
Would love to know what our savvy saver friends think. Just sounds a bit to good to be true. Thank you in advance for any help

They are one of the new challenger banks and perfectly legitimate. If you are unsure, check the FCA website - their registration is on there.0

Is it just me who finds it a bit sad that in the current climate 1.35% warrants "sounds too good to be true" status?!0

Thank you for the replies. Eskbanker you are right in what you say, but Kernel Sanders has got it more or less spot on. Have got most of the current accounts paying 2-5% and just trying to get as much as we can for our savings. The only one I haven't opened is BOS, I have just created a new account now with them with Vantage to get the 3% and was hoping to set up two D/Ds from my Tesco account, I have got instructions from another member on this but can't seem to find where it says to *Move money in*.That will be next post I think. Thank you all for your help0

Are you aware you can have three BoS C/As? It's fine to put the reason as 'savings' on your second and third ones; I did this for both myself and my mother a year or so ago with no comeback.0
