help!! problem with boiler

Options
Hi,
I have a Halstead Ace High boiler and this morning it stopped:eek: ! On investigating the boiler I have found it is leaking from the DHW flow switch. My question is can I do anything to fix it or is it a plumber job? Any help would be great as I really would like a shower!!!
thanks
Steph

    Hi
My husband (who is a plumber) recommends you get a central heating engineer. Firstly you have to be Part P registered to deal with water and electrics in a hazardous location if not you are breaking the law. So this would not be a DIY job.
    Hope this helps

  • Thanks I thought that might be the case.

WRONG ! the repairer doesen't have to be Part P , contact Halstead for a local service engineer, or British Gas will carry out the work for a fixed fee.
  • I will phone up Halstead in the morning
    Thanks
