Hello
I am away from home and I need to access files on my home pc. My husband is at home but he can't locate the files I need.
I have a feeling this is where saving documents to the 'cloud' would have helped me out!!
Is it possible for me to download some software on this pc, and my pc at home so that I can actually view the files?
Many thanks

Windows has Remote Desktop or Remote Assistance built in.
If your husband enables this on the home PC and sends you a link, you can remotely operate it and find what you need. You may not be able to edit, but at least you can tell husband what to e-mail to you0 -

Thank you. I will remember this for next time. I used the team viewer and it was great. Saved so much time trying to explain what folders to look in etc.0
