Pet Travel Insurance for America

Hey,

I am going to America for 6 months and i am struggling to find a insurance company who will cover my dog whilst we are away. I have called all of the big and small companies and independent brokers. I can't be the first person to do this trip with a dog. Is there anyone out there you can help?

Thanks

It might be cheaper to just pay the odd vet's bill as and when required whilst travelling in the US. Their costs are pretty much the same, or even a bit less than ours, particularly if you are in some of the mid-western states.

I don't think you will find any UK company that will cover America.

iCould you take out an American policy once you are there?
