Avon for gift!

Hello, you might have guessed i work for Avon as a rep, im new to it but thought this would be a really usefull thread for all! I am a DFWB so saving where ever i can, im doing hampers this year and max spend is £10, i must say avon have great gifts. I have just spent £25 on stuff to go in 5/6 hampers plus i have a wedding coming up. There are sale leaflets and loads on special offer, lovely smelling shampoo conditioner and hair masks from £1!!!! Plus if you decide to apply for a rep you could always ask for freebies or discount if you spent over a certain amount like £10 for example, or better still become a rep in time for xmas and use the money u earn to pay for pressies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :rotfl:

I have been an Avon rep for 10 years and they do have some great gifts! the sets are brilliant and the offers through the year, you can't beat!

  • Glad i have someone else who thinks so to! Not sure anyone else likes this thread lol
  • I love Avon, especially looking in the brochures towards christmas, I have e-mailed Avon and there aren't any reps in my area! I have previously bought through the website but it's a shame as a rep could be getting the commission from my orders!
If you know of one in south devon or one that wouldn't mind posting the items on to me then let them know!!

  • Lauraloo and jamtart, I'm thinking of becoming a rep for Avon as I have a baby but need extra cash so I think I'll be able to work around my baby. Do you have any tips on how to get started, any advice will be greatly appriciated.

I've just fallen in love with that new Christian Lacroiux (sp?) rouge perfume. I love the shower gel too. They sent me some thermo-lifting cream by accident too with my last on-line order and when I phoned to tell them they told me to keep it. Made my mum very happy (and less wrinkly - her words not mine!). :)

It can be quite hard work checking all the stuff off, and making the round work for you, but would be ideal with a baby as you could push the baby round as you deliver orders. I couldn't face starting it all over again now, but I've got it down to a fine art and find it quite simple. The hardest bit is making sure AVON have sent you the right stuff, and the invoice etc isnt that easy to sort out, the managers dont want to help and it pretty much you are on your own! Saying that, the stuff is fab, plus youhave the bonus of picking up stuff cheaper and earning some pennies and keeping fit walking round!

i did avon for a while but i objected to being charged to sell their products ,so before you see any money you ave to pay off your start up costs , this maybe only £10-£15 but it means you probaly will not make money to start with ! i much referr buycosmetics .com if you spend £20 you get free delivery ,spend over £25 and you get £25 worth of products free! prices are verygood with lots of 3 for 2 offers.delivery is fast and have had not had any problems at all.

  • I've ordered quite a lot of Avon stuff to go in the hampers I'm making and I've been really impressed with how cheap some of the stuff is. My mother-in-law is a rep so it's quite easy for me to order from Avon.
