Best bathroom taps?

We've got everything else for the new bathroom now apart from taps for the basin and bath. There seems to be a wide variation in prices of these. Can anyone give me any pointers in brands to either look at or avoid please?

I'm not trying to cut corners at all and would prefer to spend more on something that will last rather than buy cheap and have to replace in a year or two.

Thanks

I would say get taps that work at a minimum pressure of 0.1 bar, rather than 1 bar.

Put on isolation valves on all piping, as most and over time in hard water areas require changing eventually.

Buy replacement ceramic washers while there
