Sicily first timer

Hi All,

We are heading to Malta late April for a wedding and thought we would combine a trip to Sicily for the first half of the week, getting a ferry over to Valetta for the second half of the week.

Think the ferry is from a place called Pozzallo so we would want to be kinda close to there for ease.

Anyone know of nice places to stay in Sicily? Looking for real relax by the pool/sea, cocktail in hand with maybe a day of adventure (4 days total)

If you go on the Pozzallo travel forum on Tripadvisor, you will find other posts from people arriving from Malta on the ferry, with suggestions. You can also search the forums. If there is any possibility of getting to Syracuse, you would be well advised to go, as it is a fantastic place. There is a very helpful destination expert on the Sicily forums called Vagabonda if you want any information on public transport.
