Pre-Paid Cards for USA

I'm going on my first trip to the USA in March (Boston) and wondered what the best option would be money wise. I plan on taking a small amount of dollars for misc things but I was looking into getting one of those pre-paid cards you top up.
I signed up for a Monzo card which advertise as having no fees associated with paying via this card (not likely to do ATM withdrawl unless an emergency). I've also read about the Halifax Clarity Card but I'm not sure I want to sign up with them just for the card as I'm not likely to use it often.
Are there any other options to consider?
