Autoaid / Claim back or not?

Hi all,
My friend is looking for breakdown insurance, and I thought of a company I used a few years ago, called Autoaid.
They had really good feedback, and the only downside, was that you paid for the breakdown, then claimed back.
I know that they were taken over about 6 months ago, and wonder if the "pay and claim back", is still in force, with the new owners.
I looked at their website, but I am still unsure, as to what they want.
Any feedback will be welcomed.

I've been with them for a few years and unfortunately needed their services 4 times in last couple years.
Each time been very efficient, good communication from their call centre, as well as the recovery agents they sent out.
Despite being aware that they COULD apply the pay and claim back system, Never had to pay anything other than the annual cover, which has always been around £40ish.

I used them a month ago and did not have to pay the recovery company anything.0

Got a flat tyre tonight, called autoaid, good call centre, van came in about 40 minutes and fitted my compact spare, only had to sign for work done.
Good service all round0 -
Many thanks for your quick posts.
I think that I can now recommend AutoA. with some confidence.0 -
Been with them on and off since 1984 (only lapsed when buying a new car which had it's own cover... but mainly continuous cover for most of that time).
Only just seen that it's not 100% pay and claim now. Hope that doesn't cause major increase in cost... it has always been such good value you'd be daft not to have it.0
