After a very stressful and almost penniless Christmas 2016 I've decided not to be the same this year when it comes to birthday and Christmas gifts. I find myself blowing Decembers money on the children's presents, family presents and end up struggling (and still paying for things even in January). Birthdays throughout the year also leave me struggling.
This year I plan to not spend a penny of my own money on family gifts. I have started saving with Park for the children's Christmas presents but family presents are going to be bought using the following:
Boots Advantage points
Tesco club card points (joined the Christmas savings club)
Morrisons more vouchers
Nectar points
Amazon vouchers through swagbucks
Anymore points schemes I can get my hands on!
Roadkill
Wombling
Over the last 4 days of January I managed to womble 2 tesco receipts worth 54 points and 42 points so I popped these on my club card. I also did a few surveys that earned me extra tesco points and nectar points
Will update totals over the year along with any gifts bought in the next post.

Great idea Kanoona. Looks like it's started well.
I have calculated how much we spend on Christmas and Birthdays (£20 per person) and divided this into 12. Hoping this will ease the pressure and get more organised too.0 -
That's a great idea too Mrs boo boo I never thought of that. It's a good way of saving bit by bit!
I changed address recently and whoever moved into my old house has used a £3.00 tesco club card voucher of mine. So I emailed tesco and they've kindly credited my account with £3.00also realised I have an extra £3.50 in unspent points.

Been wombling again and it seems I have competition lol. A lady was doing the same as me only she had a full carrier bag full.
I managed to find some good receipts though:
Tesco receipts found 3 receipts. 43 points, 21 points and 5 points.
Morrisons I found a receipt with 10 points on.
Boots I found a receipt with £1.04 onPay off all your debt 2017: £3500/£0Clothing Challenge 2017: £600/£0Sealed Pot: £0 Virtual Sealed Pot: £00 -
