I was advised that a silver account account to lloyds would allow me to access account to loan easier.
Filed a complaint via Resolver on me and within 3 days have been refunded £3,386.
As I'd not used and nylon of the benefits linked to this package, they were in total agreement that we were misplaced.
So easy and highly advise you all to give it and go.0 -

Just to say thank you Moneysaving Experts, your advice is priceless.
Wrote to Lloyds bank using the initial template letter and just received over £3000 plus interest as they upheld my complaint. This repayment cleared my overdraft and I repaid my credit card too - such a relief !!
I always felt that Big Banks always win over us little people, I am very happy that because of your help and advice this is not the case.
I encourage other people to take action, stay positive and do the same.:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:):):):):):):)

Lloyds repaid all the payments we made plus interest which amounted to over £4000 after they could see we had not used any of the insurance that we were paying £17 per month for.By what they said we opened our account in 1986 and were entitled to this refund as when asked if we wanted an overdraft facility some time later which included the insurance package we thought the insurance was part of the overdraft option.
I contacted Lloyds myself and found them very helpfull.0
