I can think if better ways to infect your system.

Several threads already, did you find it spammed on facebook? Warn EVERYONE not to use it.

Why would a legit company hide their registered domain details?

I'll repeat this.
Be aware, it's advertised on the sponsored adverts running in the Microsoft Solitaire Collection on Windows 10.
Just because Microsoft are advertising it, don't assume that it will do any good!

An advert for a product that you do NOT want.. Tell everyone not to touch it with anyones barge pole.



Did someone edit my post #2?

I mentioned scanguard using identity protect which appears to be a dormant company?
Why is that?

It doesn't show as having been edited. Even if MSE Admin edit a post it usually leaves a mark. So I guess you intended to say that but didn't actually do so? (Unless the edit was made in the same minute as you posted).

100% sure because it wasnt an edit it was the main reply. I had the reply box open as i checked the companies registered domain which was using identity protect and i followed that to see its a dormant company.

I did wonder if i replied to another thread but i couldnt find any mention of them in my other replies.
