President Donald J. Trump "wants to run the United States like his business, with scant accountability and contempt for rules. Fine, except that bankruptcy is the worst conceivable outcome for a business whereas nuclear war is the worst conceivable outcome for America and all of humanity,"
Roger Cohen writes in The New York Times Opinion Section.
There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.

another fair minded balanced comment : one could observe the nearest we have come to nuclear war was when Kennedy was president but I doubt you would have mentioned that.

There were five days in November 1983 that came a whole lot closer than that.

The biggest threat by far is overpopulation. Population numbers were previously controlled through diseases that wiped out large numbers, e.g. in London there was a plague roughly once a generation until the Great Fire of 1666.

The process of 'natural control' has largely been stopped, leaving humans to breed in an uncontrolled way in ever increasing numbers, with people from dirt-poor countries having huge numbers of children and being unable to support them. The result will bring war, invasion and famine – what we are seeing now is only the start of something much bigger, I believe. Governments of the West have been terribly weakened – they need to start thinking of the reality that is facing (near) future (and possibly current) generations.

With regard to the state of the planet, there are only so many people Earth can support. In the course of the above, the planet will be terribly damaged.

It is very simple really. Those who cannot support themselves should not be allowed to have children. But it will need someone like trump to impose it.

It is also good for the children as parents who cannot support themselves is highly unlikely to be able to support their children. Children already born with disadvantages compared to other children.

And do you really think that anything Trump does will have no impact on us? Aren't we looking at the US being our main trading partner after the EU?

We need to get on with the job of looking after ourselves. Continually bleating like a lost sheep won't achieve or change anything. Of course his actions will have consequences. Not least that he wants US companies to repatriate home along with their hoards of cash which is held off shore doing nothing. America is still highly patriotic unlike the UK. Grasp that concept and you'll understand the mentality of much of the population of the USA. They don't a f*** about us. Compare the fines imposed on the US banks compared to the European ones. Ultimately the strongest win. The game is already in play.

Proudly voted remain. A global union of countries is the only way to commit global capital to the rule of law.

What are you thinking, forced sterilisation?
Maybe set up a camp or two just so that the process can be kept efficient.

Fascism is no longer acceptable. But protecting innocence people is acceptable widely.

Keep in mind this is to protect the children born with disadvantage from selfish parents an then to some extent could also control population.

Similar model has been applied successfully in China to control population.
Just need to modify the Chinese model to suit this purpose perhaps.

You accept that "Change is inevitable, is not it ?" (your motto)
This is about change to prevent children born with disadvantage and to control population.
