En suite

Options
So I previously asked about a saniflow system but I've since been told they can run the pipe work internally and box this in.

Does this quote seem good?

Total cost: £3190.00

Entails:

Supply & install new 1200 x 800mm shower/tray
700 x 1950 shower screen
Chrome Mixer shower
Toilet
pedestal and basin with fittings
4" soil pip externally and connect to existing pipework
boxing to cover internal pipework
tile shower area and splash back on sink
tile floor
install extractor fan
supply & install towel rail
install 4 spot lights

*I haven't picked the bathroom suite, this is one the plumber is supplying and is made up of individual items (I did say I only wanted basic)

I'm guessing this is a new en suite in a room without a current one?

Who is covering the building regs fees and the electrical sign off on the work?
  • Well..... this was my next question

I asked about building reg and have been told its not needed as its not new pipe connections (There was previously 2 bathrooms in the house... well, one main bathroom and another had a toilet)

The pipework for the toilet is still there, but the toilet was removed. The en suite is in a different location but is accessible to the drainage

I'm not sure I've been told the right into

    Bingo.

It isn't about the number of connections, and its about more than drainage, did they mention compliance with approved document F Ventilation?

they told you the easiest thing, not the right thing.
