It won't let me do it as I have a Rayburn and it does not use oil, gas or electric to cook on.

My overall footprint is 5.59. But I don't have a car (I cycle everywhere), and I am flying for the first time ever this year which probably put it up by a little. But when it comes down to it, and considering my own piddly little contributions compared to industry and cow farts...I don't care
The troubles is , no one will make money if everyone realised industry, cow farts and the chinese cause alot more pollution than us tax payers, saving the planet, carbon footprints etc is turning out to be a great revenue raiser ....
I am all for recycling - coz it makes sense , likewise finding an alternative to fossil fuels - it wont last forever, but hammering the UK taxpayer-for what little we do contrubute to the so called "Global Warming crisis" is insane
I would love some decent telly on a Saturday night
  • For individual ratings, it gives Household: 1.17 but I can't trust that, the incandescent bulbs here are lightly used. This house is heated by an open fireplace burning wood and by LPG to a low temperature, and features the largest window I've ever seen in a brick and mortar building.

    Appliances: 0.4

Transport: 0 - that's just plain silly given I commute 3 days a week by diesel train, and few longer journeys by train - no further than York to Barcelona though. Though if I could have got the time of work I might have gone to Beirut last year.

My footprint is 3.05. 2.1 is home, 0.95 is appliances and a fabulous 0 is transport.
  • My overall household is 15.1!!! thats 9.84 worth of travel, despite the fact I nearly always walk under a mile journeys and never fly! Its my hubbies travel to work a daily 70mile round trip!! Nothing that can be done about it so I can just carry on trying to slim down the rest.
