Section 75 BACS?

Hi,


I'm having a en suite fitted, the people fitting this have given me a business invoice but have said payment is BACS or Cash (with receipt)


If I pay BACS with my CC will it be covered under section 75?

How would you pay BACS with a CC? BACS is effectively the business-oriented precursor to faster payments, so unless I'm misunderstanding the situation they're suggesting you pay by direct bank transfer, which wouldn't be covered by section 75....

Not every business accepts credit card payments. A bank transfer payment should be fine for a job like this provided you are not making the final payment until the job is completed.

Not only can't you make a BACS payment by credit card you can't, as a personal banking customer, make one by any method now.
