Flooring Quote for a 2 Bedroom New Build

Hey,
I am clueless when it comes to things like this and I was wondering if anybody could have a look at a "very rough quote" and let me know if it was reasonable. The house has not been finished yet and we have not got the keys so we haven't got exact sizes however we have a floor plan and know the company have done many similar new builds so would have a slight idea of size.
It's a 2 bedroom and we would like the bedrooms (tiny landing) and stairs carpeted and then the Hall and Dining / Living Room wooden flooring. We have been quoted a rough price of £2,500 + VAT
They also suggested the price would also depend on skirting, doors and beading. So it could be much more than that and they haven't worded it to make it sound it could be any less :rotfl:
We even asked if they could also quote using the carpet and underlay we have here (as they fitted it 2 years ago) but that was totally over looked. :rotfl: I was expecting the price to be around £1,800 but maybe I am dreaming! Does it sound reasonable?

What area are you talking about, in M2? It depends on what quality of carpet and wood you want. We chose a good quality quickstep laminate floor for our kitchen diner and hallway and it came to £900 all in, including fitting, underlay etc. Beading didn't cost much extra.
2 bedrooms and a landing/stair would take a pair of fitters a couple of hrs to fit. Cost £15 per m2 for a decent carpet, £4/m2 for good underlay bought online and a little bit for lining paper and grip rods/threshold bars.0
