Hello
I understand the norm is that you exchange contracts within 28 days of reserving a new build
But has anyone been able to negotiate a longer period when reserving?
There is a house we love but would need longer than the 28 days to exchange contracts

They won't blackball you if you fail to meet the 28 day deadline. They are in the business of selling houses!
They just want to chivvy you along, so as long as you don't drag your fet you'll be fine.0 -
Think we had 6 weeks. It's worth asking the question of the developer; they can only say no!0

10 weeks oursDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
