Norton error 8504, 5

My PC crashed around half an hour ago, and when I restarted, I opened Norton to see if anything was wrong. It started and then came up with Error 8504, 5, and has been trying to fix it whilst I have been browsing the MSE forum.
Has anyone had this error before?
