How to uninstall what ? Teamviewer.

Should be easy to do, check the advanced tab under preferences when Teamviewer is open.

That's for Mac os x so might be different for Mac book but you can use Google for that.

What issues do you have with the superhub ?

£99, £35 ? What number have you been dialling?
If the hub is slow, switch it off; wait a minute; turn it back on again. Wait a minute. Still a problem? Try connecting to hub with an ethernet cable (assuming your macbook has one).

I'd be very suspicious if Virgin ask you to pay anything to help get their own service working.

I'd uninstall "Teamviewer" (or whatever it is) and run some virus/malware scans.

When you say the hub is slow, how have you determined that?

Sounds like somebody has tried to scam you. Not necessarily VM support though.
Google the number you called and see if anything comes up. Virgin support is 150 from a VM line, you shouldn't have to call any other number for their support unless you haven't got a VM phone line.
I haven't heard of them using TeamViewer either, but stand to be corrected on that.
