Just a word of warning folks, despite the rise supposedly being from 1st Feb 2018, I was given a long code this morning (21st January)!
I am furious - I have emailed them, but considering that they have not replied to my request about credit card fees sent in September, I don't fancy my chances!!!
In case it helps others (I was late topping up trying to get to a shop that does credit card), they have waived CC fees on their site (had I known that I would have topped up during the recent bad weather).
Anyone know if there is a validity on codes? Can I wait until I am in the red to apply it? Don't want to give them 7.2% of my current credit too!
Apologies if this is the wrong thread.Certain OTT members have caused me to add this disclaimer: all advice given is free of charge & as such should be taken to be IIRC (as I don't spend hours researching all answers  )!0 -
Hi, can anyone tell me if Ofgem rules apply to Northern Ireland?
I saw on ofgem site before I switched that companies cannot charge early termination fees if within 42 days of the end of your contract.
I switched within 30 days, but now that I have switched SSE have hit me with £40 fee and saying that rule doesn't apply in NI0
