Replacing Storage Heaters

I'm having some renovations done in my house and currently have 1980's Dimplex storage heaters. I don't want to go to the expense of installing gas central heating as we currently don't have a gas supply, but wondered if anyone had experience of electric radiators like the Haverland RC Wave or similar?
I'm also wondering if it's worth keeping the Economy 7 connection as I have an immersion heater for hot water.
Also, if I stick with Storage Heaters are there any that actually look nice rather than the nasty looking Dimplex ones?
Many thanks,
Steven

We replaced the electric storage heaters in our flat with electric water filled radiators a few years ago and we're really pleased with them. They look basically the same as gas radiators and fit on the walls in the same way. I find them to be really good at heating up the rooms and you can get a control panel that works in a similar way to normal GCH, which I think is a plus over the old storage heaters! We got rid of our Economy 7 plan when we had them fitted and I don't really miss it - we spend £70pcm on electric now (which includes showers, cooking, lights etc. as well as the heating) but we can put the heaters on when we need them rather than planning in advance and only putting them on during certain hours of the day!
Based on our experience I would highly recommend looking into similar heaters

But I’d avoid an electric wet filled boiler system there ridiculously expensive to run :rotfl:0 -
Does anyone have any hands on experience with the Haverland RC Wave radiators? They are exclusive to electric radiators direct and are apparently a BEST SELLER?0
