Water leaking from under sink

Hi all

Not a start to the first working day back but anyways
I switched on my hot water tap in the morning and when i closed it, i heard a bang, it has been coming on and off since a few weeks, but today it just started leaking water like as if the pipe that gives out hot water was just flowing at full strength uncontrollably, the boiler was constantly on and within a minute the whole bathroom was over flowing with water and then the kitchen on the ground floor too, I tried to find out a lot where i could stop the water from but all pipes looked connected but since the flow of water was so much, I just switched the supply off from stop !!!! but I dont know what to do with this. There was no stop !!!! i could see under the wash basin either. I know in my kitchen I have hot and cold water pipes but they have a stop !!!! on it but the bathroom one did not.

Any suggestions please.

Seems like the pipe feeding the hot water tap has come adrift. Find your boiler, then it might have a flap or a door that you can open, there will be a few pipes. They should all have valves on them. Start by turning them off one at a time until your boiler cuts out and water stops flowing from your tap. Then call a plumber or maybe you have cover with your water company.
