Well poor DS really struggling with teething for the past few days which has meant very little sleep for any of us.
He keeps waking up with the pain & just lies there moaning so no sleeping for any of us.
I went into town today as had my appointment for an Indian head massage & mini facial. Beforehand I went to return a hat & mitten set which was meant to be size 6-12 months but just barely fit my DS who is just coming up to 6 months! It's not like his head is that big!:rotfl:
Got the refund fine anyway & then went to buy some make-up. Girl on the till told me it was 3 for 2 & I had 2 items so went back and got something else. Paid for the stuff, thought the total seemed a bit high, walked out & then looked at the receipt - no 3 for 2. So walked back in & got them them to check it & got £9 refunded. :T Glad I checked my receipt.
My massage & facial were lovely, especially due to the lack of sleep for the last few nights, nearly fell asleep.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Hi Scott, yes they locked me out of my account on 2 separate occasions (first time for over a week, second time over 4 weeks) saying I had violated the t & c’s when all I did was try to cash out my points to p@ypal.
I don’t use them anymore for this reason which is a shame as they can be a good earner.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £11,174, Car loan 2 £5,532, CC 0% BT £780. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.0 -
Well they have done the bloody same with me. I was in work Sunday night and it was quiet so i did a five point survey which took me to the 50points mark, i tried to drop the cash down but works anti virus filters kicked in and it booted me. On my break i tried again on my phone but it said i had being suspended for breaching t's and c's.I have emailed them on sunday but nothing back yet gerrrrrrr.Cashback Earnings YTD £46.04 Survey Earnings YTD £182.66

Sorry to hear that Scott, they were quite slow to do anything the first time it happened to me and even worse the second time - was basically ignored for several weeks (no reply to several emails) but just kept emailing until I got my access back and then cashed out.

Well poor DS is still not himself but is thankfully sleeping a bit better. :j He's a poor wee soul but hopefully we're over the worst of it for a while at least. My sister dropped in today to pick a couple of things up and every time he looked at her he just cried. He normally loves her as well, so he really just wasn't feeling good. She did get him to laugh after about 20 mins or so. :rotfl:
We've been invited to a set of twins 1st birthday on Sunday so will head to that with my mum & DS for an hour or so. DH is refusing to come!:rotfl: The twins are my cousins' boys so will see some of my cousins and maybe aunts there as well.
Will be good for DS to get out & see other kids, I feel like hibernating in this weather and it's such a struggle to go anywhere but I feel bad for DS.My sister is working tomorrow night so I have my nieces for a few hours, they're 9 so won't be any bother and might even help me with DS until they get bored.
So DS will have other company than me tomorrow as well after DH goes to work.
PA picked up a bit for me the other day so will soon have enough to cash out again. Back to nothing at all today though - can often go a week without getting any surveys, maybe I'm just not checking often enough or at the right times.
Back up to £33 with 0nep0ll so hopefully not too long until payout. :T Have been doing fairly well with SB as well but only get @mazon vouchers through them rather than cash. Can use them towards things we would be paying for though, so still good. Quidc0 money through as well so will be paying that off the next highest interest loan which is car loan 2. However it seems to be a bit of a palava to pay it online, need to get DH to phone up and find out how to go about it. Hoping to make a monthly overpayment but obviously that depends on survey payouts etc.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Had a good evening with my nieces last night, they were really good with DS & helped me look after him. After he went to bed we made a chocolate cake & they got cake mix all over their faces licking the bowl. :rotfl: They then had an impromptu dance party in the kitchen whilst the cake was baking. :rotfl: They are crazy but good fun.:D
I said they could could come & stay over one night & could come over anytime & they were like “ANYtime??” So think I’ve dropped myself in it there - forgot how literally kids take things. :rotfl:Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Sounds like a lovely night Sashy
Hope DS is feeling better now too x“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
Thanks W, it was good fun & nice to have company when DS was in bed & DH still out at work.
DS a lot better thanks, he’s still a bit grumpy but over the worst of it (until the next tooth anyway).
Took DS to the twins 1st Birthday party yesterday afternoon- was sooo busy & noisy with all the kids!! I was like omg this is my life for the next ten years or so. :eek:Think DS was quite shocked at first - poor hermit baby.:rotfl: He had a wee cry but was fine after that and went to a couple of my cousins quite happily. He definitely seems to like men more at the moment. :rotfl:
I’m going to try putting DS’s Moses basket in his cot tonight to try & get him used to sleeping in his own room. Once he’s used to the room, I’ll take him out of the Moses basket & get him into the cot. I’m scared! Will be quite weird not to have him in his Moses basket next to my bed but he’s nearly too big for it now & he can’t sleep next to me forever. :rotfl:
DS eating his baby porridge well in the mornings now. :T He likes mashed up banana & enjoyed trying pear puree as well but isn’t as keen on the vegetable purees. Sweet tooth already. He likes yoghurts & has tried tiny bits of scrambled egg as well. Every time we eat now he wants a bit & just sits staring like a sad little dog wanting fed.
I’m going to read up on baby led weaning as he’s not keen on being spoon fed & keeps trying to take the spoon & bowl off me because he wants to do it himself. :rotfl: He cries in frustration and grits his teeth (he has 6 now!) to stop the spoon going in his mouth or just bites it and won’t let go like a wee terrier dog. :rotfl:Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. We woke up to snow this morning  it’s so cold & I don’t want to leave the house. Glad I bought a snowsuit for DS now.
DS not doing too badly sleeping in his own room, the first night he woke up crying quite a few times. I think he was wondering where he was, poor wee lamb. Both myself & DH found it hard to sleep & were worrying about him even though he was only down the hall.
I’m still having to get up to him a few times a night but it’s only been a few days so he’s doing well really. Hopefully will get him in the cot next week and he’ll take to it ok and go back to (mostly) sleeping through.
Our friends were round last night with their two girls who are 4 & 5. They wanted to help me with everything with DS, they picked his vest & sleepsuit for bed and even wanted to help wash him. I drew the line at them giving him his bedtime bottle. :rotfl:
When they were leaving he was in his bed and they wanted to see him before they left. I had to show them him on the baby monitor screen to stop them stomping upstairs to kiss him. :rotfl: They both drew pictures for him & the 5 year old said to me “Ok can you just pop that on the chair in DS’s room so that he sees it first thing in the morning” :rotfl: Such a wee granny.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.
