Uniform shirts all ironed & hung up plus the small ironing pile I didn't do the other night.

Requested £11 from Quidc0 & also put in a declined cash back claim for an order as don't understand why it's been declined.

List of baby clothes & blankets etc made, so will decide what else we need. Have quite a few things which is good but nothing over the top. :T

Have ordered two sets of wall stickers for the baby's room. One set £7.99 but had £2 of vouchers so only £5.99 actually paid & the other set was just under £14. They look lovely so fingers crossed they're both okay.

Window still not measured for the blind. DH making pasta bake for dinner, I'm chilling out on the couch with the kitties.

Got a frame for a print I had bought so also put the print into the frame & DH hung it for me. Looks lovely & very pleased with it. :j

:) Thanks guys - to be honest I usually feel like I should be doing more, I enjoy being lazy far too much. :rotfl:

Forgot to mention that I also managed to get a few surveys done earlier as well. Sometimes surveys are a real chore but trying to do them little & often works a bit better for me.

My sister is coming to visit tomorrow afternoon with my twin nieces & my younger nephew. Big nephew is 15 so doesn't usually come with them, he's either with his pals or playing on his xbox. :p Will try and make that banana bread tomorrow then as they always want something to eat. :)

Will try and get on the cross trainer for 15 mins as well tomorrow as was last on there on Wednesday. :o Have been aiming for every second day so should have been on there yesterday. :o

DH & I hoping to get the tomato & chilli seeds planted tomorrow as well but still a bit chilly for them to stay in the greenhouse so will probably be the big bathroom for them as it's nice & warm and gets a lot of light in there. Will need to find somewhere else for my African violets, grew some cuttings and have ended up with loads of them.

If it's dry we might get some weeding done in the front garden - quite a few of the tulips & daffs are coming through, although no flowers yet. Can't wait to get some lobelia & verbena planted in the border again. Must check when to start the lobelia seeds as love it, so nice & bright.

My heather plants are flowering in the back garden and it's nice to see a bit of colour. I love having lots of different flowers - my back garden is more pots and the front is just a small area we dug out under the front window last year but always looks so lovely & colourful when all the flowers are out. Thinking we might get a small trellis against the wall at the front for the sweet peas as they grow quite tall.

Forgot to mention last night that we bought a pack of 4 Tommy Tipee bottles in Aldi for £6.49 which is quite a good price. Going to try & breastfeed for the first few months but will move onto bottle feeding after that so useful to have some bottles.

Good plan sashybo - I wanted to breastfeed my daughter but she just wouldn't latch on properly and my nipples were so sore I gave up after 3 days.
Luckily we had planned ahead and brought bottles, steriliser and baby milk for just in case.
We won't mention the fact I felt like a failure when I made the decision but after a day I knew it was the right thing to do!

I had breastfed my son for 5 months and that worked well. I think it was DD and her mouth too be fair as she could never suck a dummy either and had to have special shaped teats on her bottles!!

Just a quick post as need to get ready for work soon, not looking forward to a 7 day slog but it's usually not too bad once I'm there. Wonder if my maternity uniform trousers have arrived yet?

Will try & get to the bank before work as have some cash to pay in. Most of it will be going towards the baby fund but might have some towards the debt.

Up to £2.75 on 0nepoll, need to try & do more surveys for other sites as well.

Our pram accessory pack arrived this morning, the stuff in it is good but really glad we didn't have to pay the full £75 rrp for it. Will definitely have to buy the foot muff for colder weather but don't need it straight away so can hold off buying & see if we can get a deal for it rather than paying £80.

I can recommend some survey sites that pay well just give me a shout on my journal. I am upto off cashback and survey sits around 170 so far this year :-)

Thanks EE, I've been doing a bit of reading about breastfeeding and thought we should be prepared just in case it doesn't happen for whatever reason. Of course I'll be disappointed if it doesn't work out - can understand the feeling of failure as there is such a big push to breastfeed. There are loads of women who don't (or can't) though so I'm thinking I'll try my best but if it doesn't work, it doesn't. I do hate to "fail" at things though so know there will still be a little voice nagging at me & I'll just have to tell it to shut up. :rotfl:

Thanks Scott, I'll pop over & "see" you at some point. I'm already on quite a few sites, have just been a bit lazy but always good to find out about different ones.

Ok, so far today both DH & I have had a massively long lie in - didn't get up until 11:30 so both must have needed the rest. :o:eek:

After a late breakfast I stripped the bed & then went on the cross trainer and did my 15 mins. Have hung out a washing as has been dry all morning - will no doubt rain now.

DH is out washing my car for me & has emptied and cleaned the kitchen bin as well. :T

Just going to jump in the shower and then will make some banana bread. Hopefully can get our tomato & chilli seeds planted before my sister & the kids come for their visit.

What a nice way to spend your Sunday morning! Working shifts must really take it out of you I'd imagine?

Hi Bob, yes the shift work is really tiring. DH's shifts are worse than mine as the times change every day. He'll broadly work "late" shifts for 4/5 days but could start at 1pm one day then 4pm the next day etc & his shifts are generally 9-10 hours. He can then finish work at 2am, come home & be off the rest of that day but be up again at 5am the next day as the shifts have rotated to early shifts for another 5 days. Again start times vary every day.

When I'm on lates I start at the same time every day for 7 days in a row, then 2 days off, back for 7 early shifts in a row & off for 5 days.

My sister & the kids didn't come up in the end as the kids needed a lazy day. We got out into the garden & tidied up the front & then we planted our tomato, chilli & sweet pepper seeds. Also planted some lobelia seeds and all are keeping warm in the upstairs bathroom.
