  • I dont see the difference between passing on your parking ticket or your rail/bus travelcard, its still fraud. London Underground treat this very seriously.

Any notice that charges tend to be 90p or £1.80? i.e. not a even coinage like £1 or £2. Our local council have admitted that they get an extra 10% as people invariably do not have the correct change..... barstewards

me too Richy Rich. Actually I think it stinks not to be able to pass on your ticket.
The local council has raised its charges, to 60p per hour. I often dont have change, and sometimes it costs me £1 for an hour. Though when I have time, I park outside town and walk in.

If they can put in new fangled ,machines to rip us off a bit more, I'm sure they could give change. It's just a huge money spinner.

Incidentally free parking in DEREHAM Norfolk. Well done Dereham, may you keep it up.
I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.

I have never noticed anything in any of the terms and conditions stating how you should dispose of your ticket once you have finished with it.

sticking your ticket to the machine can hardly be described as littering so I would think the best option, it's not your responsibility if someone chooses to display it in their vehicle surely this is what I do and will continue to do so, as mentioned previously there is no loss of revenue to the car park owners as the space is already hired for the specified period.

I think that you will find the ticket allows you to park there for a specific period. The space isn't rented; you are able to park there. If you choose to vacate early then the contract is terminated. A new contract (i.e. ticket) then needs to be aquired by the next person so actually there is potential loss there. Sorry to speak legaleeze but thats life (and no I don't agree either) :(

In Oxford city center you have to type in your entire plate number, not just 3 digits, before you get the ticket. If you make a typo and don't notice before the ticket comes out, it becomes an expensive mistake.
