Participants must be at least 21 years old and legally resident within United Kingdom or France. Employees and agents of Hotels.com or any of its subsidiary or affiliated companies and their immediate families and members of their households, and anyone otherwise connected with operation or fulfilment of the Prize Draw are not eligible to take part. Hotels.com reserves the right to require participants to prove that they are eligible to enter the Prize Draw. If the winner is found to be ineligible, Hotels.com reserves the right to award the prize to another participant and to require the return of any prize already awarded.
The Prize Draw commences at 12.01am UK time on 2 January 2017 and all entries must be received by 11.59pm UK time on the closing date of 12 February 2017.

To enter the Prize Draw you must enter your first name, last name and email address onto the relevant section of the Prize Draw page on one of the Websites. By submitting your entry, you are agreeing to subscribe to receive Hotels.com email newsletters. Please note that you may unsubscribe from these emails at any time. Entries submitted by any other means will not be accepted: only those submitted via the official method of entry. Use of script, macro or any automated system to enter the Prize Draw is prohibited and entries made (or which appear to have been made) using any such system may be treated as void. Any illegible, incomplete or fraudulent entries will be rejected. Participants may make a maximum of one entry into the Prize Draw. Any entries in addition to this may be disqualified.
The prize to be won is a travel package for the winner and up to one further adult aged at least 21 years old (the "guest") to Los Angeles, California. There is one prize available. The value of the prize is approximately US $5,000. Both the winner and guest must be at least 21 years old on the date of departure. The travel package comprises the following: return economy flights from London Heathrow (LHR) for residents of the UK or Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) for residents of France, including taxes, fees and one item of checked luggage per person; 4 nights’ hotel accommodation in Los Angeles, with a four-star rating, based on the winner and guest sharing a room; return private airport-hotel transfer in Los Angeles; two tickets to and two drinks at Catalina Jazz Club; travel insurance. Flight routings may be indirect. Winner and guest must have a full passport valid for at least 6 months after the time of travel. Any necessary visas or other travel authorisations and related fees (including a US ESTA authorisation) are the responsibility of winner and guest. Please note that the United States requires that travellers entering the US under the Visa Waiver Program (ESTA) must hold an e-Passport if their passport was issued on or after 26th October 2006. The prize includes travel insurance.

Performance Entertainment Ltd, Tudorn Barn, West Well Lane, Tingerwick, Bucks, MK18 4QA, telephone number +44 (0)1280 847755 ("Performance Entertainment"), the agency that provides the prize and will manage the prize for the winners, will require the winner and guest to provide their passport details (either transcribed into an email, or as scans of their passports), and to provide written acceptance of the prize and of their travel arrangements. A valid credit or debit card will be required for security deposit purposes when checking into hotel accommodation.

The prize is non-transferable and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available. Prize is subject to availability and third party terms and conditions in relation to the hotel, flight and Catalina Jazz Club may apply. Dates of the trip must include a Saturday night and be between either 15 September 2017 and 15 December 2017 or 7 January 2018 and 31 March 2018, excluding local and US national holidays (which are 9 October 2017, 10/11 November 2017, 23 November 2017 and 19 February 2018). The winner must allow 60 days' notice for Performance Entertainment to complete the arrangements. All elements of the prize must be taken at the same time. Once booked, the prize booking cannot be altered or amended. The prize excludes domestic ground transfers (e.g. in the country of departure and between hotel and Catalina Jazz Club). The prize excludes meals and drinks, excursions, attractions, treatments, visas and personal expenses and anything not expressly included in the prize description. To the extent permissible by your local laws, all taxes (including without limitation national and local taxes) in connection with any prize and the reporting consequence thereof, are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. By participating in the Prize Draw, participants agree that the prize is awarded on an "as is" basis, and that neither Hotels.com nor any of its subsidiary or affiliated companies, make any representations or warranties of any nature with respect to the prize.
The winner of the Prize Draw will be the first name chosen at random on 15 February 2017 from all complete, eligible, properly submitted entries received from both UK and France before the end of the applicable closing date for each country. There will only be one winner of the prize. The draw will be made by computer using Excel random draw function (RANDBETWEEN) under the control of Siv Ida Dippner, Marketing Manager at Hotels.com.
