I wonder if anyone can tell me what I'm doing wrong with EngageMe TV as I don't seem to be able to earn any points from watching it however many videos I watch.0

I'm in the UK, and I'm on my work computer at the moment, but it's been happening at home too...
This is not my field, we need some of the computer savvy on here to advise, but I wonder if your work server is hosted abroad, could it look to SBs like you are in two countries? In any case, it looks like you are a whisker from getting banned, so I'd claim any SBs you've accrued ASAP.0 -

Have you tried a different browser? Works best on Chrome for me, not so good on Firefox. Adblocker? You need ads before the clips to earn. Four ads for 1 SB.0 -

I have been trying in Chrome but don't seem to get adverts. I do not have an adblocker though that should not be the problem.0 -

My work server is not with a UK ISP (I found out when I signed up to Qmee!) so that might be the issue. I've been doing surveys at work for months though, so I wonder why it's suddenly become a problem now??
Anyway, I shall take your advice and cash out - thank you!0 -
Hi, I am v new to SB and haven't cashed in any rewards yet (hoping to let my points rank up then get a bigger voucher in time). I double checked with HMRC who said I would have to declare any amount of voucher earned for this financial year if I did cash any in. But I've just seen this article:

Would surveys come under this allowance from April 2017 onwards, assuming you earn under £1000 from SB? Or any survey site for that matter?Make £2019 in 2019 No 153 - £4517.17/£20190 -

Hi there, I am not a tax accountant (or an accountant for that matter) so I am not an expert in this field, but the trading and other property income won't usually apply to you. The income from SB will come under your income tax, and not trading tax, as you are not doing SB as a sole trader/partnership, and it is not a "property" for you to earn rental income as such.
If you really want to declare your earnings from SB, then I would presume you would add up whatever income you earn via your day job in the PAYE system, which already deducts your personal allowance, and then you will submit another self assessment tax return to declare any savings/dividends etc income (which also has their own allowance since April 2016), and this is where you will declare the SB income to be taxed.0 -

I'd say that's a fair assumption. I guess it depends on whether you want to do things to the letter and make your life more complicated over a couple of hundred quid in gift vouchers...!
