If you are monitoring it then it doesn't matter too much if the videos freeze as the percentage done counter still moves and you can click onto the next video after it has credited - same goes for the few that are too short to credit (under 30 secs) just pause them until they have credited then click onto the next one.

The giftcard prices vary a bit even within the same type of card some of them are - £10 best value Amazon, £5 best Mastercard and anything except £5 for M&S

    £5 Amazon 720, £10 1360, £25 3600, £50 7200, £100 14400
    £5 Mark&S 720, £10 1360, £25 3400, £50 6800, £100 13600
    £5 Mastcrd 700, £10 1440, £25 3600, £50 7200, £100 14400

Debenhams and John Lewis £10 to £50 are the same cost per £ and the same as M&S

Paypal works out to 800 bucks per £5 whatever value

There is an MSE list here

Go direct to the sites and they just about all pay more than Swagbucks who take their cut out of whatever the survey sites pay them.

PopulusLive and Pinecone are a couple that pay £1 per 5 mins (that's the equivalent for 5 minutes of 160 SB at paypal rates or around 140 for most others)

There are catches though aren't there - Pinecone is picky about who and when they accept new sign-ups from what I can see. A lot of them don't have as many surveys day in day out as SB - so basically, they all want their pound of flesh, it's just how they take it that is the choice you have.

Depends how you look at it - Swagbucks can need 10 times the number of surveys to pay the same amount as going direct and if you do several direct sites you can get more surveys in total than swagbucks.

Of course it's not quite as one way as that, if you do multiple direct sites you have to reach the payment thresholds on each of them and a few are quite high (£20 to £50) so across several sites you can have a fair bit tied up where £5 or £10 is usually enough to withdraw for the best rate on swagbucks. Also swagbucks offer others way to earn which makes it quicker to reach payment thresholds than just surveys alone.

I do some short ones and occasionally get sucked in to others but the 1 SB for a dq does me if there are plenty of them.
