  • They don't want honesty, they want to go to their higher ups and say "See 95% of people agree we should do the thing I already said we should do". ;)

Agreed. If they wanted honesty they'd keep it short and ask simple straightforward questions. Instead they waffle on for 20 mins, asking the same daft question a million times...

"Drag and drop this smiley face to show how close you feel to.. Brand X"

"Would you tell your friends about Brand X?"

"Do you have sexual fantasies about Brand X?"

"Do you follow Brand X on Twitter?"

    [ 10 mins later ]

"Do you follow Brand X on Snapchat?"

"If Brand X was a drink, what sort of drink would it be?"

"Explain why you gave that answer."

    [ 10 mins later ]

"Q: Just some classification questions, are you the CEO of a company that makes plutonium space knickers with a turnover of £350 trillion squillion a year?"

"I'm sorry, you're not our chosen demographic, that's 20 mins of your life you'll never get back, here's a 1SB, good luck submitting the ticket."

Sorry. Not having much joy with surveys lately.
  • I've just logged on - exhausted for a bad night sleep, thinking I'm not going to get another 7 day run, so might give SB a miss tonight - to see the Bike Insurer 1000 SB for clicking through and 'buying' (which I didn't) had just credited. Definitely having a night off

That was an i-say one of memory serves - crumbs it was tedious. They could have screened me after 1 question had they said "do you follow businesses on snapchat" - instead of answering questions about how I feel about businesses who use snapchat and me being mostly ambivilent. I dont care! Rargh.

Admittedly part of that is I refuse to buy a new phone with android 4.4+ just because swagbucks demands me to, my old phone is working perfectly well thanks. But I will probably cave in soon.

I got my mobile effectively with swagbucks earnings and from 15/10 last year to today it has, just from mobile watch, earned almost £180 including in the last 60 days £55.
I have monthly master every month because of the mobile apps, it's also completed some swago squares (purchased when it was to make the difference between a 125 or 300 sb board), I have received swagbucks and £40 so far for downloading mobileExpressions (pays an ongoing £2 Amazon per week) and my best guess is that in just under a year it has been worth over £300 to me.

  • Just completed a Hanover survey about travel websites. Suddenly they have already received enough responses and don't even cough up a 1SB DQ. So Hanover is now on my avoid list.

I know what you're saying and It was similar for me til they made most of their apps require android 4.4 and above.

I saw a smart mini in Asda for £20 the other week, so depending on specs/android version, might go for it.

I can still get swago squares with my measly old 4.1 android, just not the full board because I refuse to expose anyone I know and care about to the tedious half-working frustration that is swagbucks. :j

I think that was the last full board I got, they all seem to require a referral now and second best has dropped to 50 from the 125 SB (no doubt so the "spin and win" is probably cost neutral)

    Hi folks!

I'm new to Swag (just joined yesterday) and I was doing my best to get my SB. Surveys, Ncraze, depositing money to Coral and Virgin Games, bought some clothes on BoohooMen - that kind of thing! Won a bet on Coral last night so made my money back via that and the SB rewards. I had managed to withdraw 2 x £5 Amazon cards and then I'd got another 1200 or so from signing up to Virgin Games earlier today.

I was watching telly earlier and flicked back onto the SB site and I'd been kicked out and when I tried to log back in it said my account had been deactivated!

I can't believe it - I was so honest in my surveys (only one of them actually worked!), just watched various NCraze today and did the various tasks...nothing untoward or dodgy! I was logged in all day at work, and then logged in at home when I got in - could that have been it?

Any advice? I've raised a ticket but keen to know if there's any hope of me getting back on! SO annoying - really wanted to save for Christmas!
  • My first thought would be that Swagbucks thought you were a fake account - too much too soon. It takes us seasoned swagbuckers longer than 24 hrs to earn £10! And it takes newbies a lot longer.
