They just take up endless memory and the Flashplayer crashes repeatedly. I've decided to use an old laptop soon as I can't do anything else now on the machine while SB is running.
It helps a bit using a browser where you can delete cookies and history regularly.
A massive factor in how well EngageMe runs is your device's processor and amount of RAM.
I used to only have a laptop with a feeble 1.6 Ghz processor and 1GB of memory! Running EngageMe on that was very disjointed and you couldn't do anything else at the time - at a sensible speed - and the browser regularly needed closing and reopening.
Now I've got a desktop computer with a 3.4 Ghz processor and 8GB of memory and the improvement is massive! It runs perfectly all day and you can do whatever else you like at the time.
Do you know what your specifications are for processor and RAM? If it's an option for you to upgrade them both, I would do it.0 -
Easy Peanut Lab survey for 36SB on Halfords - took 5 minutes to complete.
Thanks for this, wasn't going to bother as I've done a few surveys today and it said 13mins but it was quite quick to race through without giving it too much thought (it actively encourages that!)MFW - OP 10% each year to clear mortgage in 10 years!

EngageMeTV is actually working fine atm, Watch makes my flashplayer collapse regularly on Mozilla. I know it's rubbish as a browser but the only one I can clear cookies selectively for SB (and I don't use it for anything else). I am not going to buy a new laptop so SB works properly :rotfl:First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, and then you win - Gandhi0 -
Re: Problems with Watch being sluggish and running out of memory
Just installed a new Bitdefender (antivirus) update this morning and found Watch had slowed down and was crashing saying out of memory.
As suggested by a Bitdefender problem solving page I've cleaned the registry using another free program, cc cleaner.
Not sure if it's improved. Edit: an hour later and it's running fine now. Edit(3): spoke too soon, just crashed out of memory, but is running okay(ish)
I think I should have done a complete removal and reinstall of bitdefender, not to mention a restart!
PS. also had no ncrave , except the daily, this morning and it reappeared after cleaning the registry!0 -

Well in my experience Firefox isn't a rubbish browser at all if you've got a good enough processor and amount of RAM. If you've got those things it works great, and if you haven't then you're probably wasting a lot of time. I certainly was.0 -
