Swagbucking into 2017

I stupidly signed up for UseNext and now I'm paranoid that they'll just bill me £170 at some point like they seem to have done to people in the past, for example.
I honestly don't know how some of the offers get past their vetting. Things like the 'Sign up to win an iPhone" are clearly just data mining scams or spam email machines. I've definitely had an uptick in spam since starting Swagbucks, and I've had some dodgy marketing phonecalls. I've got a code on the way so I can cash out and I'll probably use a Mastercard one-click to rinse the rest of the deals.
After that I'm going to call it a day. I was doing alright on surveys for a while but now every second one seems to disqualify me after I've answered their questions, then it automatically puts me in another survey rather than sending me back to SB for the 1sb bonus.
Apart from "Mobile Expressions" which I already knew was fine the only "offers" I generally do/have done are to watch videos or the occasional "search" ones if McAfee will allow access to the page. I have had no spam phone calls (probably because I don't give my number out) and very little e-mail spam none of it which I could say for sure is a result of swagbucks. I have averaged £70 a month in Amazon vouchers for the last 3 months (not including £20 from mobile expressions) so it's possible to do just fine without offers especially at the moment if you have a mobile to run their apps on.0 -
Super_Trouper wrote: »It is absolutely not normal at all. I've used Watch forever and whilst it might slow down the browser every now and again it has NEVER frozen my entire computer so everything stops - I was using itunes and even the music stopped. I was about to reboot when I was briefly able to close the browser window. A bit of slowdown in the browser - acceptable since these websites are usually very poorly optimized, but freezing the entire machine? Unacceptable and not normal at all.
I also delete my cookies, cache and history at least once a day if not twice.
I have had the same Super Trouper. PC complete froze. Only realised because the mouse didn't move. Ctrl Alt Del didn't work. It was like I was looking at a photograph of the desktop and a full reboot was required.
I think I have isolated it to Firefox (hopefully) and will now only use chrome. Hoping that's the end of it but as you say it's unacceptable and worrying.0 -

It's still on my phone but as my phone switches itself off after a few minutes there's not much I can do about it. I have emailed them to let them know. I hope they don't kick me off the programme as that £10 Amazon voucher a month comes in very handy.Mortgage: Was: £154,495 Oct 2039 Now: £84,398.84 May 2037Swagbucks ~ £90 (2024 ~ £395)Surveys ~ £92.60 (2024 ~ £280.14)Make £2025 in 2025 #5 ~ £409.16 ~ (2024 ~ £2,561.04)0 -

i got the first voucher and then removed myself from it on my phone, still got the laptop part going, it would have been nice to have each month but my phone couldn't do basic daily location stuff that i use it for and other tasking apps that add up to more for me each month, it would have a melt down and other apps just couldnt function with it on there, as soon as i removed it my phone went back to normal- Mortgage: 1st one down, 2nd also busted

I've been using this for several months now without issue, easy money. Why don't you change your settings so phone doesn't switch off? Ok for screensaver to blank out screen. You need to have both VPN key and the App symbol at top of screen. Use of some Apps (e.g. Candy Crush) seem to switch off the App & I need to click on it again afterwards. They sometimes send me a text to say restart phone if I forget to restart the App. I tried to add another monitoring App, but it disabled Incompass, so I deleted it.0 -
I have it running fine on my phone and it has no problem with the phone going to sleep, it doesn't need the screen on 24/7. I find i need to go into the app every morning to "wake it up" as it seems to hang over night, but that's it.0

The last square of swago seems to be quite a hurdle, I've not been able to find a mobile survey I qualify for in all that time, it's so frustrating.....First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, and then you win - Gandhi0

It doesn't actually have to be on the SB App or SB Answer App. If you can log into Swagbucks site via a browser (I used Chrome on Android), you may get more choice. HTH.0
