I'd like to know what the voucher stuff is too. I'm not too proud to save money - I'll just go to a tesco further from home!

My only compaint is that Tesco don't do enough value products!!! I buy practically every value product that they do, and it's just not enough!!!
I have found that an out of town Tesco Extra does the most value products, so I always shop there.
Have you tried doing your shopping online?? I do my shopping every week online and there is a massive choice of value products to choose fromIf you like what I say please say thanks

I won't - I've just been into my local Tesco - I put in a job application SIX WEEKS AGO  and have chased it up every week since, only to be told to 'ask again next week' - I'm starting to lose faith in Tesco. :mad:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

I love those 2 threads although i mainly use them for getting extra points for my "free" holiday from tesco.
I do spend less shopping online though as i resist the urge to buy everything i seeNow a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -

I've gone off them as well and try to shop elsewhere unless I just don't have the time - it is the closest shop to me. The staff in my local tesco are rude (well, not all of them) and I don't see why I should spend my money there and be treated like that.

Well, I think Martin proved that you CAN live well off of 'Value' and 'Own Brand' products - ITV1 at 8 pm on the Trevor McDonald Show.
Average weekly save - 42%.

I have to agree with you, I stumbled across them when my local asda did not do deliveries, I always always shopped at asda, but when I temporarly lost the use in my arm after an injury, I couldn't drive, so online shopping was the only thing I could do really...... and tesco's did it in my area
My shopping bill used to be approx £110-£180 a week! just from going round the store and thinking oooo looks nice, and oh thats a good offer and putting the trolley without evenb thinking!!!!
Online I roughly spend about £50 a week or less on my shopping, so it was the best thing that happened to me, then I found this site and the discount vouchers thread for tesco and I was well away! trouble is and I don't know about any tesco online shopper since finding those 2 thread on MSE I feel cheated if I don't put an order through with out a voucher code!!! lolIf you like what I say please say thanks

have to admit the people in my local asda store were like that! i used to dread going in there, and god forbid you asked for a little assistance!!!
I must admit that shopping online is the way to go, so much easier you get it when you want and I have the CS ppl really phoneful on the phones and via email. Better than the people in some stores....
