  • The home button is really annoying on the newer iphones. Does that help? I have a new SE for work and hate the button, even though I have always had iphones because of gadgetman.

I inherited gadegtmans old ipad when he got a new one. It wasn't significantly better than the 2, especially if you just use it for internet/iplayer rather than games. I tend to use the older one because I prefer the case.

Well today hasn't panned out as predicted, DGS was sick within 30 mins of being here. Luckily he did get to the bathroom so not to much mess! I have spare clothes here for him so he was soon comfortable again. We have spent a day playing , lego houses. I went outside and collected leaves for his picture. He did seem himself , but he hasn't eaten much. Anyway he had gone home now , hope it isn't catching .

NSD then looking likely. Just going to do some things to get a head start tomorrow.

  • It always amazes how quickly a child bounces back. I wish I did!

Please make sure you find something nice to do rather than just the chores. Chores seem to expand to fill the time available.

I went out today down to the market square to pay my respects. There were about 70 people plus the local cadets, leader of the council and the local MP. I was very touched to see no one walked through during the silence. It seems more and more people respect the silence on the 11th. So that was my trip out for the day! I even managed some shopping so I'm now chilling watching motorbikes. Small steps for me but a step nevertheless.

Now I need a cup of tea. Have a good weekend

Pauline glad you got out today, I will be at a local service tomorrow at the cenotaph as well. You did really well , maybe small trips are the way to go.

Don't worry about me just doing housework, I will be going for a walk as well if I have time. I love spending the day at home on my own . I have a busy life so it's like a treat to me. Hope you enjoyed your moto sport.

  • Yep, small steps and little victories! I'm not sure about a big service tomorrow but I will definitely go out. We have been to the Somme and Flanders several times, even going to the big commemorations at Thiepval for the beginningof the Battle of the Somme. If you haven't been, it is truly a beautiful place to visit and so close really.

The bikes were excellent, thank you. It looked lovely in Valencia. Mind you, it was beautifully bright here, although freezing. Just wish I could remember where I have put my gloves.

    Take care
    Pauline

  • Ha, if I had told him he would have instantly offered to get himself a new one.

Maybe ask the big man in the red suit for a new one for yourself, or be kind to the one you have and give it a little rest to see if that helps.
