Hope things will quiet down at work for you next week Cumbria. Bah to office politics - these are rife at our firm too - it makes for such a toxic working atmosphere. Needless to say it eminates nearly solely from the men at our place!

This week has been so busy , in my line of work we are usually quieter in the winter and things get busier from Easter onwards , peaking in the summer holidays. However it has been different this year and I am coming home exhausted. Have just been going to bed early , one night 8.15 !
I have had my last physio , at £30 I have managed to fund out of my own funds that I saved when being ill. I am now awaiting an appointment at a London hospital to see an expert in my lung condition. It is a rare thing I have had , and London is where I need to go. I feel well though , and am hoping it continues.
Spends this week have been at work on the Euro lottery , I darent not take part in case we win. It has cost me £3.80 and can't remember how much last week.
Yesterday took DGD to play area £3.50 and coffee for me £1.30 . Then lunch from bakery £3.55 , very naughty but needs must .
My mum wants taking out for lunch to her favourite garden centre for Mother's Day, we are doing it next weekend , she has something on today.
Seaside I will see my mum and dad tomorrow morning, dad will do a cooked breakfast . My children I will see in the afternoon . We don't make a big thing of Mother's Day as I see them all the time . I have flowers already from the DGC . Will see what tomorrow brings.
I am trying to do a five week shopping month out of this months salary as next month I am extremely busy and spending could go up quite a bit.
Sky have hiked there price up £3.50 and council tax is an extra £4 a month. I am seriously thinking of getting rid of Sky tv , I don't watch any of the channels I pay for a lot.
Hoping for a NSD today , fingers crossed .This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
So pleased you're feeling well - and hope your specialist appointment comes through soonest.
I'm the same re lottery - I'm in the syndicate at work and daren't come out. I think it would finish me if I did and then they won and left me at work whilst they resigned and floated away......
Tomorrow's cooked breakfast sounds yum! How lovely to have flowers from the DGC. Especially cherished!
If you're not watching much sky it sounds sensible to get rid of it. I'm still in contract with them for a few more months but will definitely be negotiating when it's finished....Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Today has been a simple Mother's Day just as I like it , nothing over the top just time spent with mum and dad . I received thoughtful presents from my children, spoke to my DGS as well.

Just caught up with your diary and it is such good news that you got the all-clear from the doctors. Hopefully it won't take too long to get the London appointment.
I have really appreciated your comments on my diary. It has really made a difference to how I feel about my situation.
My mum lives up in Rochdale so has suffered badly from the weather. As expected she took it all in her stride but has complained about being chained to the house! I have offered to do her some online grocery shopping but I was very sharply told that it was not necessary and she could manage. It has reduced her social life which she really misses. Not bad for a 91 year old.
I love The Lakes although I don't often get up there. I much prefer that type of landscape rather than being on the flat. But it has just occurred to me that it might not be ideal as we become older.
Have a good week, take care honey
