Sorry to hear your news :(

Will treatment be at the 'city' hospital? Never know we could have been passing each other and not knowing.

    Hope the scan goes okay

Oh crikey Cumbria :( One of my friends suffers from repeated bouts of skin cancer, she keeps getting them cut out/treated and then she's fine again. It never rains but it pours.

Fingers crossed for the scan xx

Today they had a good look at the rest of my body and couldn't see anything else concerning so hopefully it will be just this one thing.

  • Oh heck that must have given you a bit of a shock - although thankfully it does sound like nowhere near as bad as it might have been and good that it was picked up early. Fingers crossed the scan goes well.

It occurred to me this morning that I have FINALLY stopped coughing 6 weeks after I had the cold that it arrived with in the first place. There's hope for you shaking yours off yet!

It is further away from me but at least we are lucky to have such wonderful staff at a variety of specialists hospitals near us.

  • Hi Cumbria Lass,

Really pleased your diary is back but really sorry to hear about your laryngitis and skin cancer. A woman I work with regularly has patches removed; she had a large chunk taken off her nose in the summer and 3 weeks later you would never have known

Try and take it easy on yourself, please rest if you need it
