    Sorry you're feeling rough again.
And hopefully it wasn't anything you caught up here - it is currently -2 and hasn't been much above that all day. You can smell the snow in the air but we rarely get it here sadly - the fells grab it all before it gets to us. They do look rather beautiful though, and Shap has had lots overnight. Sadly stuck working from home otherwise I'd've been tempted to have a little drive out.

Joeyjimbles I envy you being able to see fells . I feel so much better when I can see the fells and lakes . I saw a quirky house in Windermere at the weekend , if I was retired I would have bought it.

Anyhow back to today , I went in work yesterday and did work that didn’t involve speaking , as I now have no voice at all. Today I am staying at home , phoned in sick again! Not like me to keep getting all these viruses .

I think I maybe able to scrape together another payment to CC2 today after I empty pots of left over money , not much maybe £10.

    Will update later .

Don't worry about sickness and work. They can see/hear you have been/are ill.

Maybe concentrate on boosting your health and looking after yourself now, although the change in weather will help

Doctor visited wanted to give me 2 weeks off work , no thank you , work would have a fit , I need a sick note when I am really ill so will save it for that. Anyway it’s all viral , just have to not use my voice . Work have agreed that I can go in and do other stuff till my voice comes back so heading in tomorrow.

Good news on the BP front the monitor results are very good , bp of an athlete according to doctor , think she may have been slightly over enthusiastic. That makes me feel a whole lot better, so going to the gym is helping I think , only not happening this week.

MSE news , my employers have managed to get corporate rate again at my gym which is welcome news not sure how much that will be , it’s usually about £5 per month but better than nothing.

Going to sit and read this afternoon , and enjoy the peace .

Forgot as well as joining English Heritage also joined national Trust through topcashback , am paying monthly for this . Got £5.25 off for going through TC . To pay for it I am reducing my entertainment fund to £95 instead of £100 . Have already used it last weekend in the Lake District, think it will be well used in the summer with the DGC .

Worth it for some of the car parks up here too.
And lots of lovely places to visit all over the country.
Hope you're keeping well, the chilly wind is really biting up here. It's tried to snow twice but it's far too wet on the ground to stay which is a bit of a shame.

That CC2 is going down. Good news on BP but sorry you have been unwell. Loads of respiratory infections around. DH, DD myself and DGd have all had the lurgy.
