  • The Low Fodmap diet, is pretty full on at first but I promise it gets a lot easier when you get used it. A few essentials are asafoetida (a herb that when cooked in oil/butter gives a taste like saut!ed onion), xantham gum (makes gluten free baking still taste good) and then Monash University Fodmap App (its not cheap but it is the best way to know what you can and can't eat and they update it regularly).

I have been doing this diet for 5 years now and there are a few sites I really love - as a new user I can't post websites but good ones are fructosefreecooking (.com), BBC Good Food has a low fodmap section, as does Taste.

    Good luck!
