Has anyone done this? Wiping that amount of carbs from your daily intake has got to give good results?
I am thinking of doing this and also giving up wraps as I want to lose a couple of stone.

I love my bread and yes, when I wanted to lose weight, cutting it all out of my diet (but not pasta, rice or cereals) did help me a lot. I have re-introduced it because I do love it a lot, but now as a treat, so only once a week normally, rather than part of regular meals.
Good luck with your weight loss.0 -
Don't forget you still need some fibre in your diet...0

And that seeds whilst full of fibre oddly do not help overmuch whereas a big bowl of veg soup is much more cooperative, as well as tasting more fun.
Have you had a riffle through The 8-Week Blood Sugar Diet: Lose weight fast and reprogramme your body. I found it both interesting & reassuring (& my GP had read it & OKed me to go for it.)
I also find an exercise & food tracking app helps me log Everything... which is very motivating, watching some numbers climb & others drop!0 -
I only eat bread on special occasions/holidays .I do enjoy it, however I find that I am physically better without it. I have other carbs in smaller portions so don't miss out.SCP # 034

I have given up on all grains, so no wheat, oatmeal, or rice for health reasons. I have no problems with lack of fibre.
We can get all the fibre we need by eating plenty of vegetables, salads and fruit.0 -
Since developing stomach issues after eating bread, i gave it up. Tried to reintroduce it but no good. Maybe a side effect but my ezcema has got loads better since cutting bread totally. Occasionally miss it but i am still alive!Saving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

I am thinking of giving up bread and potatoes. I know my problem will be lunches at work though as I am not a "salady" person and I love bread with my soup. Any lunchtime ideas?0

Tinned soup is convenient for work if you have a microwave.0 -

Try using sweet potatoes as you would jacket potatoes.
