Must be either a thin bath or a very heavy shower head! Has it cracked?0

My husband sealed ours over with mastic (silicone sealant) but this was temporary until we put a new bath in. I wouldn't trust it long term.0

You can get acrylic repair kits - just google those words. Probably more chance of lasting than silicon0

It has cracked - a very thin crack but it is letting water through. I'm worried it will crack further now. Looks like it will have to be a new bath - not a good start financially to the year!
Anyone got any ide how much the average plumber charges to replace a bath, have phone round a few but due to being bank holiday I haven't managed to speak to anyone yet?
Thanks in adavance0 -
Most baths are tiled in so it will require some tiles removing & possibly repair to the wall before the tiles are replaced/put back, it's not a 5 min job so it's not gonna be cheap, it might be worth looking at your home insurance policyI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -
Worth checking your home insurance - might be covered for accidental damage.0

Can you post a photo as it will give people a better idea of the scale of the problem.0
