Boiler dripping water?

Hello all,
I have a dripping boiler and paid someone from the actual manufacturer to come out and repair it and something else. He said the dripping water was nothing to be concerned about as it was just something that was not sealed very well? I should have asked him to explain more or written it down. Any idea what he could have been referring too? Maybe I could call the manufacturer up and ask them to ask the tradesman what he meant?

It could have been one of the connections or the condense trap, the manu wouldn't be my first port of call for something like that as a fixed price repair will be £250+ for something your local RGI might have been able to fix for less ££, unless there was something else wrong with it that you haven't said about ?I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -
Where exactly if the drip from, the actual boiler or one of the pipes leading from it. Can you post a photo of the location of the drips?0

I wish I could get a job where I could get paid for stating the bleeding obvious!
I once had a boiler which started to drip. I got out a spanner and tightened up the joint. It didn't drip again.
Many years later, and on a different boiler, I noticed a steady drip from the boiler. I called out a local plumbers. They stripped down the boiler and found that the inside was full of water. They condemned it as beyond economic repair.
So it could be anywhere between those two extremes. If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0
