  • Hi everyone!
    Welcome to all the newbies.

I have a UU and some TAs and GAs as a result of giving myself a pedicure and going through my nails stash. Plus a UU- Aussie conditioner WBA I like this stuff.

UU - an old boots own brand foot soak wash stuff. Kind of like bubble bath for your feet. WPNBA as don't think it exists also rarely soak my feet!

TA- 8ish nail varnishes that were well past their best!

GA- going to the charity shop with about 8 more that are still fine but if I'm brutally honest I never wear. I've wasted a fair bit on chela glittery polishes and summer shades I'm not into it seems!

My nail stuff lives in my bottom bedside draw with my hair stuff (apart from shampoos and conditioners which live in bathroom). I also found a fair few products that are to be used when or before drying hair so I am going to try to work my way through them. Definitely things I've bought ages ago and not really touched!
  • I'm going to have to leave my eyeshadow stash to someone in my will

I better leave my nail varnish, but my sister is a fuss part who only uses one brand so she won't even want it!

My eyeshadow stash is definitely SABLE as is blush and nail polish.

Houseplant - I have bought lots of glitter polishes over the years and whilst I love the look I just cannot be bothered getting it off so never use them. I still have a few that I just can't bear to part with.

    morning all
UU: NUXE anti-fatigue moisturizer sample 15ml size - WMBA, its not my HG but probably 2nd fav. smells lovely and sinks in well.

Bot does this thread focus your mind - was ready to lift a new full size moisturizer out of stash this morning but the thought of having to wait to post another UU focused me! I have selected a part used moisturizer - probably only a couple of uses left in it, figured I should clear some of the half used ones first!

Its going to take me years to use every nail varnish in my stash just once.

Love glitter polishes but they are a pain to remove. I have bought a glitter remover, but it doesn't seem to make it any easier. If anyone has a way of getting these off please share.

By the way all my polishes seem to be OPI.

The best way to remove glitter polish is soak a cotton pad in nail polish remover, wrap it around your nail, wrap tin foil around that and leave for about five minutes. The polish is melted off and removed easily. Still a faff though xx
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I have a few bottles of peel off base coat (basically PVA glue :rotfl:) - Essence do a good one. I use that if I'm ever doing glitter nails, it's so much easier. Just soak a little in warm water and peel the whole glitter nail right off! They'll only last a day or two though compared to normal nails, but that's enough for glitter :)

The only downside is planning - deciding I want to use a glitter polish in advance so knowing I need the base coat. And then making sure my nails won't get wet for at least a couple of hours (so the base coat sets well).
